CRAFT STUDY
REFLECTION
Craft study was the first outdoor project we did. our group was assigned ‘kullu shawls’ and we were supposed to research thoroughly about it. i liked how we had to gather information about the crafts by talking to the original craftsmen. i was more interested in talking to the other craftsmen than our assigned one because the two men were not very interested in sharing information about their craft. other’s groups’ crafts were more exciting to me than my craft because i used to talk to the craftsmen so much, it was a pleasant experience, i learned so much about our indian crafts. one of the challenges/regret was i wish i had given more attention to my craft then i would have worked more on the documentation of my craft which i think was lacking. also i didnt sketch as much as i should have overall it was one of the best experiences.
